Rangatahi mā, he whakaaro whakamīharo kei konā hei whakatinana atu?

Te Pūtahitanga o Te Waipounamu are excited to let rangatahi Māori in Te Waipounamu, Rakiura and Rēkohu/Wharekauri know that applications for RUIA and Tama Ora are open!

RUIA was created in a unique partnership in 2019 on the principle that rangatahi should be part of the decision-making process when it comes to initiatives to support their growth and development. Five years on, RUIA has supported hundreds of rangatahi to do just that!

Tama Ora is a partnership with He Oranga Poutama, Ihi Aotearoa and aims to engage rangatahi and tamariki Māori (5 to 25 years) in  Te Ao Māori through physical activity. This year, we are excited to be opening Tama Ora alongside RUIA for our rangatahi collab!

To find out more about RUIA or Tama Ora and how to apply, see below, check out our website or give us a call on 0800 187 689.

Applications for both funds close at noon on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Tohaina ki te ao, e te iwi! Please help us make sure that our whānau are aware RUIA and Tama Ora are open and ready for new ideas!
