Throughout the country, 125 Community Connector positions were established within the community to focus on helping people connect with the services they need to support recovery post-COVID-19,
In relation to the outbreak of Covid-19, they work specifically with individuals and whānau who are self-isolating, to ensure they have access to any services they may need in relation to education, housing, plus employment and budget issues.
In relation to health and Covid-19 directly, Connectors can deliver kai packages, cleaning products, Rapid Antigen Tests and required medications across Christchurch and Ashburton.
