About Tai Neke, Tai Ora

Tai Neke, Tai Ora is a Whānau Ora approach to whānau hauora that focuses on the four aspects of wellbeing as outlined in Te Whare Tapa Whā. Taha Tinana (physical), Taha Hinengaro (mental and emotional), Taha Whānau (social), and Taha Wairua (spiritual).

Some examples of kaupapa that Tai Neke, Tai Ora have supported include the revitalisation and promotion of mātauranga Māori through sports and recreational initiatives; activities to enhance the wellbeing of kaumātua; and kaupapa that seeks to lift the wairua of whānau Māori through traditional healing practices.
